Snow trees were very famous back then. Now wonder how many cans of spray had to use for formal coating. Lighting bulbs had a large size. People wore blue dress with black shoes for eve.

- The tradition of hanging stockings comes from a Dutch custom. They would leave shoes full of food for St. Nicolas’ donkeys and St. Nicholas would then leave small gifts in return.
- 12th century nuns left socks full of nuts, fruit and tangerines at the doors of the poor. This is where the tradition of putting tangerines in stockings came from.

In 1960s , silver branched trees with red and green ornaments were very common. Family put food around tree before eating and it was custom to put all the meal dishes around Christmas tree.
