All TV shows have ups and downs. The difference between the good ones and the bad ones are whether the show bounces back after a terrible season. Many popular TV shows lost viewers because of certain moments that were either too cringey or too annoying. Here’s a list of 20 TV shows we stopped watching because of reasons.

THE WALKING DEAD
The Walking Dead used to be a fun show to watch. Everyone wanted to know what was the gang’s next step in the postapocalyptic world. And then came Negan. The beginning of season 7 showed us how Glenn, a favorite character, got killed by Negan’s bat, Lucille. Seriously? Of all the minor characters, they chose to write off the one everyone loved! Negan was the biggest disaster of this show. No wonder everyone lost interest after the infamous killing scene.

GREY’S ANATOMY
Grey’s Anatomy is famous for killing off beloved characters. The one death most fans never recovered from was Derek’s. He was a major part of the show, and to keep on watching Grey’s without Derek was just wrong. Many fans dropped the show because Meredith and Derek were unforgettable.

FRIENDS
Rachel dating Joey was simply wrong. We understand she needed someone to be there for her, but why Joey? He was a good guy who deserved someone right for him. Thank God these two didn’t last. But, the damage was done. A lot of fans decided it was time to stop watching Friends after this relationship fiasco.

JANE THE VIRGIN
Since the beginning of Jane the Virgin fans divided into two teams: team Michael and team Rafael. Even the biggest Rafael fans felt betrayed when Michael died. They finally had a nice life going on! It was a cruel thing from the writers of this show. Michael’s death was one of the most shocking scenes that made us hate the show we once loved.

SEX AND THE CITY
Carries boyfriends were a bunch of dysfunctional characters. All of them except Aidan. When Carrie cheated on Aidan with Big, 99% of the fans were mad as hell. He was such a nice guy, while Big was…let’s just say we weren’t so big on him. This made us hate Carrie and stop watching the show for good. Her selfish behavior ruined SATC for the true fans.

THE 100
Killing off Lexa was a dumb move the writers of The 100 did to us. Her and Clarke’s relationship represented the LGBT community on TV. Seeing Lexa dying broke hearts to all true fans. She was fierce, and her love with Clarke was full of passion. Lexa deserved to die in a heroic manner like a true leader she was.

SCANDAL
He would risk a war to save his mistress! Seriously Mr.President? When Olivia Pope was kidnapped, things went so far it became ridiculous. We know it’s just a TV show, but keep it, real folks! The Scandal became too scandalous after that. It’s just another show that’s not worth watching anymore.

THE LAST MAN ON EARTH
This show was once the one to watch when things are blue. Sadly, the show became blue too. It just wasn’t funny enough anymore. Seeing almost everyone being arrogant to Tandy was so annoying. But the moment that annoyed us the most was was the whole drama about Carol and Tandy having a baby. All in all, the characters, the plot, and the poor acting of some people placed this TV show on the don’t-watch list.

NEW GIRL
Whoever thought Jess and Nick being a couple was a good idea? Sure, the couples thing was cute at first, but then they became too obsessed with each other. They didn’t have what Schmidt and Cece had. The only thing worse than their relationship was the breakup. Keeping up with the New Girl was too troubling after this disaster of a relationship.

ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK
Poussey dying at the hands of a correctional officer was one of the toughest and saddest moments of OITNB. It’s also the reason why many fans decided it was the time to stop watching this show. No one was happy about Poussey getting killed off. She was an example all of the inmates should’ve followed.

THE WALKING DEAD PART 2
Since the show lost many good characters, we had to add another one to this list. Carl from The Walking Dead died. He was bitten by a walker and slowly the infection began. There’s nothing Rick could do to save his boy. Writing off Carl in such a ridiculous way made the fans angry. Couldn’t he just die in a fight with Negan? He deserved a heroic death!

SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH
Growing up and going through high school with Sabrina was pretty fun. There were some hilarious episodes all teenagers loved and even watched more than once. But then came college. Most of the fans will agree Sabrina’s show lost all the fun when she began dating Josh. He was simply a wrong choice for her! We choose Sabrina the teenage over Sabrina the young adult any day.

MODERN FAMILY
This show had lots of ups and downs, but it’s still here. Seems like the writers are running out of ideas. That’s why even the tiniest nonsense makes the people stop watching it. A lot of you guys will agree with this: Hearing Gloria’s faked and forced English accent was a stopping point. Why, oh, why?! She was much better with her natural latino accent! It was painful to listen to her every time she opened her mouth lately.

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER
Seems like How I Met Your Mother lasted forever. There were so many annoying moments that made us want to quit watching. Let’s just name some of them: Lily leaving Marshal to go to San Francisco, Ted’s entire relationship with Zoey, Robin being obnoxious to Patrice, Barney and Robin getting married, Barney and Robin getting a divorce etc. See, so many moments that made the fans so angry, some of them actually dropped the show.

GILMORE GIRLS
Just when the things couldn’t get any better for Luke and Lorelai, there comes the devil’s spawn in a form of Luke’s daughter April. Those of you who didn’t watch the show might think: „Okay, she’s a kid. So what?“ April was annoying as hell. The writers clearly made her character to break Luke and Lorelai. They did a good job, and fans stopped caring for the show after a while.

THE 100
Here’s another TV moment from the show The 100 that made the fans so furious. Actually, it’s the appearance of Allie throughout seasons 2,3, and 4 that destroyed the show for good. No wonder Murphy referred to Allie as „the bit*h in the red dress“! The whole drama about the City of Light took the show in a whole new direction which a lot of people hated. Like the 100 didn’t have enough problems before Allie! All in all, the show just got to weird to care about it.

THE BIG BANG THEORY
Like all shows, The Big Bang Theory had its ups and downs. Introducing Raj’s sister Priya, was a dumb move writers made. Her relationship with Leonard was everything but healthy. He followed her like a puppy, and she bossed him pretty much the entire time. Their „love“ was the trigger for leaving this show for good.

GILMORE GIRLS
Gilmore Girls was a show half of the people loved, and half of the people hated. The straw that broke the camel’s back was when Rory hooked up with Dean. Everything would be okay if Dean wasn’t married! Who does that? There was no more point to keep on watching the show with a protagonist we all started to hate.

GAME OF THRONES
World’s favorite TV show, Game of Thrones, lost a lot of good characters. Everyone remembers the massacre that’s also known as the Red Wedding. The writers decided to get rid of the half of the good ones including Robb Stark, his mother, pregnant wife, and even the wolf. It was a bold move everyone hated and most likely stopped watching the show after it happened.

THE OFFICE
When Michael left The Office that was pretty much the end of the show for the real fans. He was the glue that was holding the show together and the leader of the crazy pack. After Michael, the show wasn’t that interesting anymore. Many fans decided it was time to give up The Office and move to something new.
